Driver Hours & Tachograph Regulations

The aims of this course are to ensure delegates are aware of current legislation and how it affects them in their daily working routine. To enhance road safety by adhering to the legislation applicable to the type of work being undertaken. To reduce the chances of fixed penalties or even criminal prosecution by clarifying the requirements of the various regulations. Delegates will be able to operate an analogue or digital tachograph in a correct and legal manner to meet the requirements of the above regulations.

Emergency First Aid at Work

The aim of this course is to promote within the delegate the knowledge and confidence to give emergency first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill while at work. To enable the delegate to deal with a range of emergency first aid situations and/or take on the role of emergency first aider in the workplace.

Roadcraft 1 – Being a Professional Driver

Ensure drivers have an in depth knowledge of their responsibilities to their employer, other road users and themselves.
To engender a feeling of pride in being a true professional. To encourage drivers to appreciate the fact that their actions reflect not only on the professionalism of themselves but that of their employer, the business and the transport industry as a whole.

Roadcraft 2 – Principles of Eco-Safe Driving

To improve the driving techniques of drivers of commercial freight and passenger vehicles through awareness training.
To promote an understanding of, Safe driving techniques, Fuel-efficient driving techniques and the reason why they are fuel efficient,
Benefits of these techniques to the Operator, the Driver, Road Safety, the Environment.
